Lisa Stark, general manager of sales and marketing at PMG says one of the deal makers for purchasing the third Indigo is its ability to print short run, high-quality messages that can be personalised, while matching corporate colours.
Stark says, “One of the most important factors for us was the ability to mix PMS colours in order to print corporate colours. Being able to do that on a digital press is impressive as it enables us to provide our corporate clients with a high quality digital solution and maintain their brand integrity.
“Plus the Indigo allows us to print on a wide variety of substrates including plastics, giving us more flexibility and greater creative options to show our customers.”
Stark adds that the new Indigo 7500 fits perfectly into the company’s growth plans. She says, “We intend to increase focus on on-demand print rather than print and store, and to convert some sheetfed short runs to digital to increase efficiencies, and hopefully profitability, and to expand our presence in direct mail.”
Beginning under the name Fraser & Jenkinson in 1892, PMG now has employees more than 400 staff and facilities throughout Australia.
PMG has grown organically and through the acquisition of well-established firms including Ducor Australia, and most recently, the business of Moore Australasia. The company is now one of Australia’s largest corporate print specialists.
