PMP conference to bridge gap in marketing skills

According to PMP, Australians are leading the world in terms of social media usage, which is having a direct impact on the media and marketing landscape. Many businesses struggle to keep up with these fast paced changes, and are failing to integrate social media into their overall marketing strategies.

PMP adds that it recognises the need to align all components in multi-channel marketing and is bringing together a host of international and national experts to provide best practice and insight on the subject through the ‘Schmart’ Marketing Conference.

Richard Allely, CEO of PMP says “Marketers in Australia are aware of the raft of advantages and benefits associated with utilising social media in targeting and reaching specific audience segments. The difficulty for many lies in tying social media to existing marketing strategies.

“Bringing together international and national experts in this field will provide marketers and businesses alike with thoughts on how to tie together creative, strategy and social media into one combined marketing strategy.”

Speakers from a range of established businesses and start up venture projects across Australia will also be on hand to provide best practice guidance, hints and tips via real life case studies.

Both conferences will take place in the respective cities over the course of one day, and the attendees expected to learn how to:

  • Redefine business and marketing strategies that can transform their business
  • Make more of a marketing budget and create online communities that generate results
  • Rethink and apply creative advertising solutions that suit multiple channels
  • Hear examples of companies that have successfully combined the elements

The conference will kick off in Melbourne on April 4, followed by Sydney on April 6.
