Graham Wood, managing director Pop Online, says, “We are a family business. The backbone of the business is non-genuine parts for most printing presses, guillotine blades and numbering parts.”
The company has called itself Pop Online for nearly 10 years. Wood says, “We’ve had our ups and downs, especially when introducing new products to the marketplace and we’ve spent 10 years sorting out the good ones from the not so good. It’s interesting getting quality products and now we are satisfied with the quality of our parts. Client’s order parts online and we ship them straight away.”
Pop Online is also showing GPM perforating and creasing machines including the desktop GPM 450SA, a semi-automatic creasing and perforating machine that does up to A2 format. Wood says, “It can do 15 creases and they are all programmable.”
A veteran of many trade shows, Wood enjoyed PrintEx11 and comments that the number of visitors impressed him. He says, “While you’re apprehensive in the current market to invest in these things, I have been pleasantly surprised.”
