This is in addition to the mountains of books, newspapers and reports generated over the past three years in the wake of the terrorist attacks. The report has sold out at many of the outlets stocking the release throughout the United States.

Publication of the US$10 paperback coincided with the release on July 22 of a report by a bipartisan panel on the terror attack. The report was highly critical of a number of US Government agencies in what is perceived to be a significant intelligence failure in not preventing the attacks.

An estimated 350,000 copies had been sold through last week and the book topped the best seller lists for Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com on multiple days.

A hardcover edition, with a suggested price of US$29.95, is scheduled to come out at the end of August. The hardcover will include an extensive index, which the paperback does not have, and is expected to sell primarily to libraries, will all profits going to charity.

Translations are planned in Arabic, Mandarin, French, German and other languages
