Printers urged to mo up for men’s health

Roland DG urges printers to grow a mo and support Movember this year, as it gets staff involved in the men’s health initiative for the first time.

Roland DG Australia director John Wall says all staff are being encouraged to get involved, whether actually growing a moustache or supporting the cause through donations and awareness.

“We are excited to support such a great cause and look forward to seeing some great moustaches and to raising funds for men’s health,” he says.

Marketing team leader Jake Higgins says: “We hope to create more conversation around supporting the cause and making a contribution to donations.”

The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow a moustache during November to spark conversation and raise funds for men’s health programmes.

The foundation has raised some $580m to date, and funded more than 800 programmes in 21 countries.

It says the work and research is to help to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
