PrintEx11 is Sydney’s premier print and graphic communications exhibition, presented by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) and Printing Industries, while VIIE, presented by VISA, is a showcase for the visual graphics industries.
Mitch Mulligan, chairman of PrintEx11 says, “We believe this will create an outstanding experience and ensure a valuable return on the time and resources invested by both exhibitors and visitors. By combining our resources in an open environment, visitors will be able to see the latest advances and gather the best advice across the broad print and visual communications market.”
The exhibitions will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour from May 4-6 next year. PrintEx and VIIE cover a gross area of 17500sqm. While branding and registration for the two shows will remain discrete, the exhibition space will be completely open, allowing visitors from each exhibition to visit the other with no barrier.
Also commenting, Peter Harper general manager of VISA says, “There is considerable overlap between our respective industries and markets which means there is enormous potential to share information, ideas and resources to the benefit of our members, other industry suppliers and their customers.
“We’re confident that this exciting new partnership will deliver significant additional benefits to VIIE and PrintEx exhibitors and visitors next May in Sydney.”
