The equipment listed includes a number of late model Heidelberg perfectors as well as some older presses, multiple platsesetters and finishing kit.
Frank Todisco, former director of Printlinx, told ProPrint that the machinery was from a number of sites.
ProPrint has been told that one of the sites mentioned, Energi Print, which went into administration on 6 November, remains subject to legal proceedings, including certain equipment.
Todisco said the “phone hasn’t stopped ringing” since the brochure was sent out.
He added that Energi Print recently lost long-time customer ACP Magazines. Production of covers of the publisher’s magazines, including Women’s Weekly, has been placed with other suppliers.
The Printlinx group of companies includes John D Harris, M&M Binders and Printing Authority of Tasmania.
