Progressives elected to PIAA board

The votes are in and seats won in the hotly contested PIAA board election.

Kieran May from Accross Business and Chris Segaert from Permanent Press return to the two national seats, with new challenger Roy Aldrich, director of Eastern Studios, missing out on a spot.

Queensland maintained its status quo, with Susan Heaney successfully defending her seat against Tom Eckersley from Print Approach.

Robert Yeates from Huon Valley News returns to the Tasmanian seat, beating back Craig Pearce, managing director of Flying Colours Printing, who had the backing of PIAA president David Leach.

Ross Black in Victoria, Stephen Edwards for NSW, Graham Jamieson in WA, Peter Lane in SA and David Leach for the ACT all retained their seats unopposed.
