Last time, we asked: ‘Is the federal government’s new print procurement initiative good for the industry?’

The results were:

35.3%: No. It restricts public sector opportunities to a limited pool of print suppliers.

29.4%: No. The same big companies will still take the lion’s share of work.

26.5%: Yes. It creates a level playing field for printers of all sizes to access public sector work.

8.8%: It will have no tangible effect on the majority of the industry.

0%: Yes. Because all printers will need to meet the government’s high standards to be competitive.
