Last week, we asked ‘ Digital vendors will take up more floorspace at this year’s Ipex than offset vendors. What does this mean?’

The results were:

54%: This is part of the inevitable trend towards digital, as the quality and efficiencies of the technology improve.

32%: These events are about showing off what’s new, and there have simply been more advances recently in digital technology than in offset.

8%: The amount of floorspace taken up by digital or offset vendors is meaningless, the popularity of certain technologies is in a constant state of flux.

6%: This is just a temporary phenomenon which reflects the strained purchasing budgets forced by the GFC.
