Natacha takes a ‘never give up’ attitude to her role as business development manager at Worldwide Online’s South Brisbane, Springwood and Redlands stores. She survived the Queensland floods and, even more courageously, has endured working with her in-laws.
Why did you get into printing?
My husband Paul and my brother-in-law, George Bacic, thought I should use my skills in the family business so I moved back from my position in my marketing company and filled the gap left by exiting partners in our Worldwide business.
What is your favourite phrase?
My all-time favourite is ‘never give up’, followed by ‘nil sine labore’ (nothing without work).
Which superpower would you like?
Being a mother, it would be the gift of being able to settle a baby to sleep or telepathy to encourage your kids to eat their food. Those powers would be enough to take the stress out of my life.
What is your greatest luxury in life?
Unbroken sleep.
What was your childhood obsession?
Chocolate, swimming, chocolate, boys, Smash Hits magazine. And did I mention chocolate?
What’s your secret talent?
Making a three-leaf clover with my tongue.
Who would you like to be stuck on a desert island with?
The genie with the three wishes (and yes, one would be a packet of ‘pink wish’ Tim Tams that never runs out).
What really makes your blood boil?
Vistaprint mentality! Need I say more?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I grow up, I want to be Prime Minister (seriously). I reckon I could do a better job than the woman in charge.
