
The new flagship model Pro C901 Graphic Arts + Series replaces the previous Graphic Arts versions.
Duty cycle has been increased by 20% to 700,000 per month, with larger toner bottles able to cover an average of 67,000 clicks increasing throughput between toner changes by 6%.
Media handling has been improved with the maximum supported stock weight increased to 350gsm from 300gsm.
The E42 server includes Hyper RIP technology for processing multiple pages simultaneously and Xobjects caching for improved PDF page processing.
Ricoh Australia's general manager of business solutions and production, Kathy Wilson, told ProPrint: "Ricoh Australia has seen excellent success with the introduction of the Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition and these new and improved capabilities, to be released later this year, will further cement Ricoh as a true production solution provider."
