Ring Wire binding increases the options at Perfectly Bound

In its 15 years in business Perfectly Bound has earned a name for itself as a specialist finisher, catering mainly to the short to medium run market from its Rydalmere premises. Its core services of perfect binding, collating, saddle stitching, scoring, folding, drilling and trimming have now been augmented by the installation of Renz Ring Wire binding facilities.

Peter O'Keeffe, managing director of Perfect Bound says, "In response to demand from our customers we decided to venture into related bindery fields. As we focus on quality not quantity, the criteria for selecting equipment was based on a quality product and quality support. Our research turned up two machines from Renz which we believe add value to our existing services and take care of our customers' present and future needs.

"We are very pleased with the product and the service provided by Renz Masterbind," O'Keeffe added. "With these two machines, we now have the latest technology to provide a quality, new service to our customers."

The Renz Mobi 500 produces wire bound books and calendars up to a working width of 500mm with the calendar hanger automatically inserted for quick and easy binding.

It handles the new larger wire sizes up to 1¼" on single phase power with no need for compressed air. The touch screen control makes for quick and easy set up for all book and calendar work.

Punching can be a bottleneck in the production chain and efficient production of these jobs is the key to added profits. The flexible and extremely fast Renz AP360 offers fully automatic or manual format adjustment for all types of punching in loose-leaf binding systems and special punching operations. Its short set up time allows small quantities to be punched efficiently. No tools are needed to set the format as fully automatic format adjustments can be made on the touch screen display. As a result personnel costs are drastically reduced while productivity is increased.
