Roland DG Australia appoints Daryl Leonard Rio as its new business development manager for the ASEAN region.

Rio is based in Singapore for the role, which he begun earlier this month.

Roland says Rio brings years of experience in the Asia wide-format printing industry, in which he has been responsible for customer support, sales, and distribution.

His most recent role was for software company Aurelon Asia, working as business development manager for the Asia Pacific region. Roland says Rio worked closely with distributors, building relationships and looking for new business opportunities, and achieving growth in new markets.

Prior to that, Rio worked as regional application engineer for ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions and Barbieri Electronic.

Roland says its footprint in the ASEAN region has continued to grow in recent years, and Daryl’s local knowledge and experience with regional manufacturers will enhance this expansion as he explores new market opportunities for Roland DG.
