The company says that the LEC-330 has 1440dpi print resolution, white inks and the ability to work with practically any coated or uncoated stock or substrate up to 1.3mm thick.
The new VersaCAMM VS-640 64” printer/cutter was on show and available in three configurations. One is designed to deliver Roland’s silver ink, a second enables the production of hi-fi colour, and the third delivers uni-directional quality at bi-directional speeds, according to Roland. At 64” wide, the VS-640 has application in vehicle wrapping, digital decals and signs.
Roland says that its wide format XC-540MT can print genuine silver ink and mix that ink with a full gamut of colour too. It says the printer can deal with a range of self-adhesive and speciality media with applications for outdoor-durable print and, because it is also a cutter, it can produce stickers and decals with variable data content.
Roland’s AdvancedJet AJ-740i grand format printer was also on the stand. Roland says this printer produces six colour CMYK+LcLm graphics on both coated and uncoated media.
