Roland DG providing training courses

Roland DG Australia, manufacturer of wide-format inkjet devices, is running courses to ensure printers get the ‘maximum benefit out of their machine’.

Technical specialists from Roland DG have developed VersaWorks Advanced training courses to help printers to improve print quality, refine production processes, develop workflow efficiencies and overall commercial performance.

The classes will provide lessons on how to use both the standard and advanced features of Roland VersaWorks and give users the knowledge to take full advantage of the many capabilities of their Roland devices.

Roland DG Australia’s marketing team leader, Jake Higgins, says while at the time of installation training is provided to Roland DG customers, this ‘advanced course allows one to gain mastery over the printer’.

He says, “We have been running these courses for a number of years and that is because there is a demand for it.”

The full day course costs $299.00 and covers topics including:

• Print environment & calibration.
• Colour management.
• Managing and fine-tuning profiles.
• Advanced production techniques and tips.
• Workflow Automation.
• New features in the latest version of VersaWorks including built in Pantone libraries.
• Important maintenance tips to extend the life of a Roland printer.

The courses will run throughout Australia with limited spaces.

• 26 March – Sydney.
• 9 April – Melbourne.
• 18 June – Perth.
• 9 July – Adelaide.
• 22 July – Brisbane.
• 6 August – Sydney.
• 1 October – Melbourne.
