Roland DG urges printers to grow a mo to support the month of Movember, as it gets involved with staff for the first time this year in the initiative to support men’s health. John Wall, president and director of Roland DG Australia, says, “All staff are being encouraged to be involved in Movember, whether actually growing a mo or supporting the cause through donations and awareness.”
Jake Higgins, marketing team leader, says, “We hope to create more conversation around supporting the cause and making a contribution to donations.” The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow a moustache during November to spark conversation and raise funds for men’s health programmes. Wall says, “We are excited to support such a great cause and look forward to seeing some great moustaches and to raising funds for men’s health.” The Movember Foundation has raised some $580m to date, and funded more than 800 programmes in 21 countries. The foundation says the work and research is to help to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
