Additionally, upgrades from four colours to six colours, and six colours to eight colours are available, extending both the versatility of the printer and its working life.
Designed to extend the capabilities of the existing Scitex Vision XLjet+ 8C printer, the new 4C and 6C models provide cost-effective solutions for companies entering the market or expanding their services, and is the only large format printer range to boast such a spectrum of colour modes.
Itai Halevy, Scitex Vision executive vice president and chief marketing officer, says, “We believe that the addition of the extra models will take the Scitex Vision XLjet+ into more market segments, and firmly establish it as the standard for high-quality three-metre printing applications.”
The Scitex Vision XLjet+ series is available in widths of two, three and five metres, offering compatibility with a wide range of substrates. Applications suited to Scitex Vision XLjet+ printers range from indoor applications where high print quality is required, including double-sided and backlit applications, to billboards, floor and window graphics and vehicle wraps. Suitable substrates include flex, banner, canvas, Tyvek, textiles, paper and vinyl.
“The addition of upgradeable systems capable of growing from four to eight colours opens the super-wide format inkjet market to more printers and screen printers who want to gradually add additional services for their customers or expand into new markets,” Halevy says.
