Snap Printing at Rockdale has purchased the Lamidesk Flatbed Application Table, in its first Australian installation since debuting at Visual Impact in Brisbane last month.

The team at Snap watched the Lamidesk in action during a demonstration in Brisbane, and since its installation in the Rockdale shop a little more than a week ago it has been churning out jobs every day.

According to the Australian distributor Sign Essentials, the Lamidesk is the only version in the world to include a motorised gantry which requires no assistance to mount self-adhesive print onto board. 

Snap Rockdale manager Craig Edmondson says the Lamidesk has improved turnaround time already, and its motorised gantry was the driving force compelling him to invest in the new machine.

Sign Essentials general manager Sean Strange also says, “We were thrilled to have Snap Rockdale purchase the first Lamidesk.

“Craig had done quite a bit of research to try and alleviate what was a significant bottle-neck in their production cycle. When he saw the EasyShift at Visual Impact he could see it was the right machine for the job.”

Lamidesk is a European manufacturer of flatbed application tables, and is headquartered in the Czech Republic.
