Snap venturing out with online push

Snap Promote, the new service created in collaboration with Quark is set to go live September 1. According to Snap, the service provides customers with a range of templates for business cards, post card-sized mailers, glossy tri-fold brochures and other marketing material, which can be customised via downloadable software on the Snap website.

Grant Vernon CEO of Snap says, “Professional design and printing is so often a barrier for small business owners. Snap Promote gives small businesses the ability to create and print high quality marketing material easily and affordably.”

Also commenting, Ray Schiavone, CEO of Quark says, “QuarkPromote.com has generated significant interest globally and when looking at the Australian market to launch our online printing service, Snap was the obvious choice to form an alliance with.”

Meanwhile, in announcing Snap’s new marketing services brand, Snap Level 2, Vernon said traditional print and copy providers had to move with the times to continue growing. He says, Print is still a part of our business, we may have removed print from out name but that doesn’t mean we have removed it from our business.”

However, he adds that the move into new marketing streams opens up more opportunities for businesses. He says, “Today we are able to reach a much larger audience through websites, electronic newsletters and email marketing campaigns.

“We saw there was no Australia-wide brand that offered these services to small to medium sized businesses, a gap now filled by Snap Level 2.”

According to Snap, the Level 2 modal is a marketing and design service, which extends to the online space including websites, email marketing e-publications and video production. To date 61 of Snap’s nearly 150 Australian franchises offer the Level 2 service, with plans to roll out to the entire group.
