Spandex and Epson to hold wide format open days

Spandex and Epson will present a series of open days in NSW, Queensland and WA in September and October, focusing on how wide format printers can add value with safe solvent and dye sublimation printing. The open days will showcase Epson’s Surecolor SC range of 64-inch (1625mm) safe solvent printers and F series of dye sublimation printers, and explore the commercial possibilities of dye sublimated gifts, clothing, sports apparel and corporate items.

Alex McClelland, managing director with Spandex, says, “These open days are a way for sign and display businesses to maximise their knowledge base and speak one-on-one with experts from both Epson and Spandex. “Visitors can pick what time they come in and know that they can get straight onto the learning curve and demonstrations.” Epson’s F series dye-sub printers can transfer to fabrics, sport apparel and soft signage. Spandex also supplies digital heat presses and Teflon protection sheets. The free series kicks off at Epson’s North Ryde showroom on Thursday September 26, followed by a Queensland open day hosted by Spandex at Yatala on October 15 and the WA event at Malaga on October 23. Attendees can register at the Spandex website, or by calling 1800 683 311. Those dates are: NSW: Thursday September 26 at Epson, 3 Talavera Rd, North Ryde Queensland: Tuesday October 15 at Spandex, 33 Gassman Dr, Yatala WA: Wednesday October 23 at Spandex, 26 Milrose Dr, Malaga
