Ben Eaton, general manager says, “We aim to start 2011 with a strong message to all wide-format digital printers that Starleaton offers quality flexible and rigid substrates that can significantly reduce carbon footprints and recycling/disposal issues.

“We are assembling sample green media kits into a handy folder and these will be made available from mid January on. Our goal is to simplify the choice of green sign and display materials with full disclosure and no greenwashing of data.”

The range of Starleaton green products includes:

• Neschen Pro Nature flexible roll medias including Organic Banner, Artist Premium Heavy and Light, Solvotex Cotton.

• Converd Boxlite, Green Light and Enviroscape Mural flexible media plus Enviroboard MR rigid sheets, which are FSC-certified.

• Forex Smart foamboard sheets from 3A Composites for interior or exterior use, with high recyclability.

Eaton continues that the selected green media offer high printability backed by a thorough knowledge of processes and ICC profiling.
