Seiko manufactured SX eco-solvent ink, used in printers like the Seiko SII ColorPainter M-64s, has obtained the widely regarded Nordic Ecolabel environmental standard.
Seiko’s SX ink been approved as meeting the chemical requirements for the label, which assesses a product’s ecological footprint. Seiko says approval for the label shows the ink is ecologically sustainable. Russell Cavenagh, sales director of DES, the Australian distributor of the SII ColorPainter M-64s, says the confirmation that the ink meets the highest environmental standards, in addition to its wide colour gamut and outdoor durability, is a testament to Seiko’s technology. DES managing director Ian Clare says the award of the Nordic Ecolabel to another of the products his company distributes supports its endeavour to be one of Australia’s leaders in the supply of ecologically sustainable products.
