At the first PODi event outside of the USA and providing a world perspective on the requirements and benefits of variable data printing will be Rab Govil, CEO of PODi in the USA and founder of digital print consulting firm Caslon & Co.
Govil is a recognised thought leader in the digital printing industry. He
serves as President of PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, a
non-profit strategic marketing and educational initiative focused on
evangelising the opportunities in digital printing technology and
services.
Govil served as director of the Imaging Division of the
Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Research Corporation, where he
was responsible for all imaging-related research and consulting
projects. He received his Bachelors degree in Computer Science with
advanced degrees in Computational Imaging from RIT, where he was
Presidents Scholar.
He will be joined on the international panel by US-based digital print advisers, Roger Gimbel and Peter Muir. The international presenters will compliment over a dozen local experts users and advisers in the field of relevant, personalised direct marketing.

Caslon & Company is the PODi Program Associate for North America and is serving as the international Program Associate until other regional Associates are formed.
PODi members are industry leaders representing all facets of the digital printing ecosystem, including software, hardware and other industry vendors, print and marketing service providers, and enterprises.
As digital printing becomes a more powerful and widely used communication medium, PODi helps members understand how it can be integrated into their marketing, customer service, IT and executive management strategies.
