During the past five years, the Chinese manufacturing sector has grown faster than any in the world. One of the consequences of this is that opinions about Chinese manufacturing quality have changed – or at least are changing – for the better. “Most of the world’s major manufacturers are now engaged in sourcing products made in China,” points out Graham Moorby, joint managing director of Printers Superstore, the UK agent for Chinese press manufacturer Sanxin. Printers Superstore launched a Sanxin 52cm two-colour press to the UK print industry at Ipex in 2006, and since then it has installed close to a dozen machines and taken orders for nearly as many more.
