The Age took the award from sister Fairfax title Sydney Morning Herald, which has held the title for the past two years. Non-daily newspaper of the year was the St George & Sutherland Shire Leader
Newspaper print quality awards went to the West Australian on a double width press and Taiwan’s Apply Daily on single width. The West Australian also won the Pre-Prints & Supplements award.
