The site produces around 90 per cent of Vulcan series blankets used around the world by sheetfed, commercial web offset and newspaper printers.

"Trelleborg Printing Blankets has always had a philosophy of protecting the environment as much as humanly possible and we have extremely strict policies in regards to the environment at our factories in Italy, China and the USA," says managing director Dario Porta.

"I think many people would be surprised at the level to which we have taken this, but it is something that both management and staff feel strongly about. This has helped to ensure that the manufacture of Vulcan blankets causes the least impact on the environment."

The brand is represented in Australia and New Zealand by DSChemport.
