Patterson told Australian Printer, “I have left Printing Industries (PIAA). I will however remain in this great industry in which I have spent a large amount of my career in, I don’t see myself anywhere else but in print. I cannot comment further on my departure from PIAA due to legal reasons.”

Printing Industries – the peak print association – has recently undergone a restructuring which saw the state mangers model replaced by national general managers. Its CEO bill Healey was unavailable for comment on Patterson‘s departure

Patterson joined Printing Industries as Victoria sate manager in following a long career in print, working for companies including Collie & Co, FT Wimble, and at Agfa. He has also been a board member on PacPrint.
