Wintle leaves Ferrostaal

Wintle has been selling Komoris for the past 25 years, first with Collie Cook, the Sicpa, then CPI and finally with Ferrostaal, as the agency went through several owners.

He says, “That’s business, but I won’t be leaving the industry. I’ll take a break and then aim to get back into print, it’s a great industry and I don’t want to start in something new when I have so much knowledge and experience, and great friendships in print.”

Since 1985 Komori has become established as major player in the Australian press market, particularly in commercial sheetfed, but since the onset GFC when the bottom fell out of the market sales have been thin on the ground.

Wintle says, “Even though times have been tough for all in print in the last couple of years there is no doubt that print has a great future, and I intend to be part of that.”
