Tronics announces management buyout

Now poised for faster growth, the company is confident it can extend its leadership with Videojet, Marsh and Alltec sole agencies in Australasia, and into the US and Asia with its range of Tronics labellers.

The company is investing in resources with a clear focus on Best Practice customer service in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, timber and engineering sectors.

Tronics is now owned by New Zealand-based international general manager Bill Doe, managing director Michael Best and Australian national sales manager Frank Floriano. The company’s well-known sales and technical support team is being extended with new resident staff based in Napier and Christchurch.

Bill Doe will retain overall responsibility for the New Zealand operation. He will also manage Tronics staff handling the US and export operations.

In December, Tronics NZ will move into new expanded head office premises in Mt Wellington. The move will support the company’s growth which is believed to be the fastest in its industry.

“Already we supply nine models of inkjet and laser coding machine”, says Auckland sales executive Declan Doorish. “These are in addition to our internationally-competitive labelers and printer/applicators”.
Supporting their product lineup, Tronics focus on a seven-step Best Practice service comprising: feasibility studies, customized system design, supply, installation, commissioning, training and professional maintenance. While maintenance staff are always on-call for emergencies, all Tronics systems are engineered to require minimal service during their working life.

Throughout New Zealand, Tronics have secured contracts with leading organizations in every industry they serve. Internationally, the company now has offices across Australia, the United States and Asia, as well as distributor partners throughout the world.
