Following the recent liquidation of the LST Group, Trotec Laser Australia, the subsidiary of global laser manufacturer Trotec Laser GmbH (Austria), has acquired LST’s remaining inventory of Universal Laser spare parts and IPI plastics.
LST Group, based in Punchbowl, Sydney, offered laser and 3D solutions for use in additive and subtractive manufacturing.
Just as importantly, several experienced former LST Group staff will be joining the Trotec Australia team. This includes service technicians and customer support staff, ensuring continuity and familiarity both in the field and over the phone.
Trotec Laser Australia confirmed it has not acquired the LST Group and will not offer support for 3D printers, which lie outside of its scope of expertise.
However, Universal laser system users can now access reliable support from Trotec Laser Australia’s nationwide team of experienced technicians, with essential spare parts readily available to reduce downtime and maintain productivity.
“We understand this is a time of uncertainty for many businesses,” Trotec Laser Australia managing director Reece Moore said.
“Our priority is to offer a stable, trusted hand – ensuring customers are not left without options or support.
“We want LST customers to know they are not alone. Trotec is here, ready to provide the expertise, resources, and care needed to keep your operations moving forward.”
To assist with the transition, Trotec Laser Australia is offering two exclusive preventative maintenance service packages for Universal laser systems.
Trotec Laser Australia has also announced the addition of 13 new acrylic colours to its popular TroGlass range. These additions aim to offer greater design flexibility and creative freedom for a wide variety of laser applications.
The expansion includes new finishes across TroGlass Metallic – featuring the Pearl Line and Chrome Line – as well as four new colours in the glitter-infused TroGlass Sparkle series.
