Together with all the latest information on a wide range of converting applications, Valmet Converting will have a Rotomec SL500 laminating machine on the booth at the exhibition. This laminator is a compact machine for film, paper and aluminium using solventless adhesives, with a 5-roller coating unit and single, shaftless unwinds and rewind. Web width is 1000 – 1300mm operating at up to 300m/min, with maximum reel diameter of 1000mm. Valmwet says the simple, compact configuration of this machine enables a quick installation and start-up, rapid delivery and a very competitive price.
Rotomec also provides the 600 and 700 Series full-size laminating machines with inter-changeable coating trolleys, 800 – 1400mm web widths and speeds up to 330m/min. The 600 model has a single, shaftless unwinder and duplex rewinder. The 700 model has duplex unwind / rewinds with automatic reel change. Both machines can be designed for solvent-less adhesives, but for solvent based adhesives they require a 5m long dryer and rotogravure trolley.
