Deon Wepener is the lead presales Europe production print at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe. He joined Sprinter at drupa to explain the TASKalfa Pro 55000c, which is being shown publicly in Europe for the first time.
The Kyrocera TASKalfa pro 55000c operates with standard vacuum feed paper decks for sheets from 330 to 487 mm in size and takes paper weights from 60 to 400 GSM.
The water-based inkjet machine is also capable of feeding sheets up to 700 mm in length.
“One of our key offers is we do not need any pre-treatment on the media,” Wepener explains.
“This is a unique combination of our infrared drying technology and our patented ink that allows us to print on coated substrates with no pretreatment,” Wepener continues.
