Visual Media Association hosts Tasmanian Industry Leaders Events

Tony Bertrand left with Paul Bartolo to host VMA sessions in Tasmania.

The Visual Media Association (VMA) is hosting print industry leaders’ events across Launceston and Hobart on 21 and 22 March respectively as part of its national roadshow and member engagement program for 2024.

Sessions include incoming Tasmanian Board officer and head of marketing, Ball & Doggett, Tony Bertrand to field questions on behalf of the VMA board from industry members on the industry’s current needs and key priorities.

“As a newly elected board officer for Tasmania, I am committed to representing our industry with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes. These sessions in Tasmania are an opportunity for us to come together, share insights, and build a stronger representation for the state,“ commented Bertrand.

The VMA says the key focus areas for members are a commitment to the following four pillars:

  • HR/IR advisory
  • Environmental social governance
  • Member engagement
  • Skills & training

Following on from the VMA hosted Leaders Luncheon in Perth, Western Australia late last year, Tasmania kicks off the first event for 2024.

For the remainder of the year, each state and territory will schedule events aimed to develop state-by-state opportunities, share individual insights and learn about new programs launched by the Association.

Kellie Northwood, CEO of the VMA, said the organisation is dedicated to bringing a unified offering to all members.

“I am excited to hear from all our members across the country, starting 2024 with Tasmania is welcomed. The newly appointed Board are going to be working with the states they represent more this year which ensures all our members are heard and all our programs offer value.”

Registration is complimentary, and industry members are encouraged to share the invitation to ensure a diverse and representative attendance.
