Vivad Australia and Durst Oceania to host Open House

Vivad Australia and Durst Oceania will host the upcoming Open House this week in Melbourne.

Taking place at Vivad’s showroom on Thursday 15 February, the Open House event is open to all members of the industry and will offer attendees the opportunity to see Vivad’s extensive range of Durst equipment including the Durst P5 350 HS Flatbed, Durst P5 Tex iSub, Durst 512R LED Roll to Roll, Durst 325 Rhotex, Durst P10 Flatbed, and Durst 500R Roll to Roll.

Matt Ashman, managing director, Durst Oceania, said Durst Oceania is thrilled to co-host the Open House with longstanding customer, Ewen Donaldson, managing director of Vivad.

“Durst Oceania is proud to be able to work with Vivad for this Open House event, as well as showcase Durst’s innovations,” said Ashman.

“Vivad is a company that has always been at the forefront of the latest technology and equipment. By combining leading edge hardware with innovative homegrown software, Vivad has created a unique offering for the Australian market and one that we’re proud to be part of.

“It’s a pleasure to continue to work with Ewen and we’re looking forward to him opening the doors so everyone can see what an innovative company he has grown.”

Donaldson told Sprinter it is a great privilege to open the Vivad doors to the industry.

“We work in an amazingly rich and diverse industry, and I am constantly meeting new people who are doing inspiring things with large format digital print. Therefore, it’s a great privilege to throw open our doors and invite people to come and see our capabilities through the combined Vivad, and Durst Open House,” said Donaldson.

“I first met Matt Ashman and the Durst team in London in 2011 where he took me to a print house to show me what would become our first Durst 5-metre machine. Since then, we have purchased six Durst machines. Durst’s quality, ingenuity, reliability, and distribution model, continues to give me the confidence to grow.”

The Open House will take place on Thursday 15 February from 2pm until 5pm at 1958 Sydney Road Campbellfield, Victoria.

Following the Open House, FESPA Australia will host its annual Melbourne BBQ at the Richmond Rowing Club, from 6pm until 10pm.

“The FESPA Australia Annual Gourmet BBQ continues to be the iconic event to kick start the year, and this year is no exception, with a bumper crowd of over 100 attendees already registered, it’s promising to be a fantastic opportunity to meet peers, colleagues, and friends,” said Jane Docherty, marketing and communications, FESPA Australia.
