Walcar Graphics showcases its OKI Pro 9542

Sydney printer supplier Walcar Graphics unveiled its new OKI digital printer Pro9542 in an open house event, demonstrating to customers the machine’s innovative new white ink capability, different to the original C941.

OKI now offers deeper colour depth and impressive registration with the Pro9542’s white ink printing, ideal for print jobs where colours need to stand out on darker media – a feat previously only possible through expensive lithographic or digital equipment.

The Pro 9542 machine is targeted towards printers wanting to print specialist jobs on a wider range of stock and needing white toner for light production.

Walcar’s Ben Sam says the OKI Pro9542 is suited for printers who want to diversify services, add value and offer specialised printing to complement other large volume production print runs.

The graphics company also demonstrated fabric printing applications led by Christopher Sigmann from heat transfer paper manufacturer Forever in Germany.
