
Pearce his trade for the Balmain Tigers for
a decade from 1980 to 1990, winning premierships in ’88 and ’89, and playing 15
State of Origins for the Blues.
Since then Pearce has won a reputation for
introducing the science of sports into competition, and was awarded the Medal
of the Order of Australia.
The Graduate of the year Awards will be
held at North Ryde RSL at 6.30pm next Tuesday. There are six finalists vying
for the title, the winner goes forward to the national comp against the winners
of other states.
