Women in Print NSW got together this week for a Print & Prosecco Night which included a thought-provoking presentation on ‘How to Unlock Your Natural Talents’ from Kirstene Ciappara, an entrepreneur, educator and coach.
The evening was held at the Sydney Rowing Club and attracted strong attendance with around 50 women from across the printing industry getting together.
Ciappara provided an overview of the six main personality archetypes – The Pioneer, The Adviser, The Activator, The Relator, The Creator and The Builder – and encouraged attendees to discuss these with those around them, a move which sparked discussion and encouraged networking and connection amongst the lively group.
The event was sponsored by Ball & Doggett, Cactus Imaging, Durst, DIC, Orafol and Bright Print Group. Due to this support, all attendees also received a copy of Lisa Curry’s memoir, Lisa, which covers 60 years of life, love and loss. The memoir charts the triple Olympian and now wellness entrepreneur’s journey after she was spotted by Dawn Fraser’s then coach Harry Gallagher swimming at her local pool on a hot, muggy Brisbane day as a 10-year-old.
Women in Print NSW Patron Debbie Burgess, of Bright Print Group, welcomed all attendees and thanked the sponsors for their support.
Burgess also thanked her committee members Fiona O’Dea of DIC, Sarah Moore of Visual Connections and Carmen Ciappara of Printer Media Group for their assistance in ensuring the night was a success.
