Women in Print seeks 2015 sponsors

Women in Print is calling for sponsors for next year’s series of networking events so it can hire a top-notch professional speaker and produce five breakfasts around Australia.

Heidelberg Women in Print patron Deb Holst says as a not-for-profit event ‘it can only operate if we have the support of the industry’ and needs corporate sponsors to fund it into its ninth year.

The Heidelberg-organised event’s state patrons include GAMAA executive director Karen Goldsmith for NSW, PIAA Victoria’s Jenny Berry, Heaneys Performers in Print managing director Susan Heaney for Queensland, Jen Baile from FujiXerox in SA, and Olivia Grida from Advance Press in WA.

The organisers say the breakfasts attract a diverse audience comprising women in senior management, sales and marketing through to those working in technical capacities on the shop floor.

In 2014, about 380 women attended the five events in state capitals to network with each other and listen to Sally ‘Dr Feelgood’ Cockburn talk about women’s health, and share her secrets on juggling work and personal responsibilities.

Since Women in Print began, more than 2500 women have participated and each year new guests join those who are regulars, further expanding the reach of the events and the networking opportunities.

Holst says: “Sponsoring Women in Print is a great opportunity to show your support for the industry and we look forward to welcoming new sponsors for our 2015 program.”

Companies interested in sponsoring should contact Heidelberg or email Jenny Berry.
