Women & Leadership Australia, an organisation dedicated towards developing female leaders and supporting the increased presence of women in business, has launched new scholarships for the manufacturing industry.

To support a pipeline of outstanding women leaders, it is launching two of its flagship leadership programs, with a dedicated focus on emerging and mid-level leaders in manufacturing.

Partial scholarships are now available for women in manufacturing to participate in these two leadership courses:

• Leading Edge: a four-month program enabling the transition of aspiring and early career women into confident, capable and motivated leaders
• Executive Ready: a seven-month leadership and career accelerator designed to stretch mid-level leaders and rapidly propel them towards executive level performance, behaviours and mindsets

Valued at up to $3,000, the partial scholarships are open to women across all areas of the manufacturing sector.

“As you may know, the Australian manufacturing industry currently employs over 900,000 people with one in four being women. We know that more women in leadership roles will strengthen the manufacturing industry, and we’re here to help,” the organisation said.

Applications close on 12 August, with courses commencing in September this year.
