
Commenting on the decision to support Apple, WoodWing chief executive Hans Janssen said: “Apple’s iPad is most certainly going to boost the success of media consumption through handheld devices.”
The Netherlands-based company has extended its Content Station software, which allows users to plan, create and publish cross-media content, to accommodate the extra functionality required to plan andproduce digital publications for the iPad.
WoodWing will launch its iPad toolset in New York next month.
Pacific Magazines became the first Australian publisher to roll out Content Station in December last year for its Prevention title.
