Xanté impresses with new platesetter

Xant’s newest innovation, the Impressia Metal PlateSetter, incorporates a brand new technology in metal CTP (computer-to-plate). The Impressia is built on Z-7 technology, a combination of new and existing core technologies developed by Xant’s engineering design team. The Impressia’s process-free, chemical-free workflow is not only capable of 2400dpi/150lpi, but the company believes it is also the world’s fastest metal CTP solution.

Robert Ross, Xanté president and CEO, says, “I’m very proud of our design team. This award proves that their talent is truly world class. We set out to create a new revolutionary technology that was thought impossible to achieve. Our designers accepted that challenge and shocked the industry with the introduction of Impressia.”

Keith Hevenor, Electronic Publishing Magazine chief editor, says, “Building on its many years of success with paper and polyester plate imaging, Xanté has taken its technology to the next step and has opened up a metal plate workflow to the masses who need a fast, high-quality, low-cost solution.”
