Durst ups roll-to-roll Rho productivity with autospool software

When the Rho Autospooling Software has the ‘auto queue’ feature turned on, any files submitted from Caldera’s Grand Rip+ are downloaded to the Rho printer’s workstation and automatically printed.

Time saving is achieved by automating functions that previously had to be carried out at the printer using the touch-screen interface.

Pre-defined settings in the job ticket – including number of copies, number of print passes, glossy or matt finish, uni or bi-directional operation, and frontlit or backlit output – are picked up by the printer to ensure correct output.

Rho Autospooling Software is available for the Rho 320R and Rho 500R roll-to-roll printers and supports single or multi-roll printing, up to three rolls. Printed jobs are automatically deleted from the Rho workstation, but a job list is saved that can be viewed in MS Excel or exported to MIS software.
