Ferrostaal will supply Australian and New Zealand customers with MGI’s toner and inkjet technologies, which include the Meteor series of multi-substrate digital presses, UV coaters and laminating and diecutting products.

Chief executive Markus Haefeli said the partnership would strengthen Ferrostaal’s line-up.

“The MGI print solutions allow us to build on our existing customer relationships to offer alternative solutions at a time when added value is top-of-mind,” he said.

MGI’s US managing director, Michael Abergel, described Ferrostaal as the perfect partner.

“Their breadth of experience with offset printing, packaging and bindery technologies, along with their strong customer relationships and technical support, is the perfect complement to our digital printing and finishing solutions,” he said.
