Fespa Digital 2011 to be biggest ever

The exhibition, scheduled for 24 to 27 May, will be the biggest to date and a day longer than last year.

It will include the Fespa Digital Textile Conference and Fespa Fabric as well as the reprise of the Fespa Wrap Cup, among other events.

Marketing for the event is already underway, and is themed around the extreme sport Parkour, or freerunning, to highlight ideas of evolution and adaptation.

Sales and marketing director Marcus Timson described the analogy as “symbolic of the way all wide-format printers need to approach their businesses”.

“2011 is set to be a growth year, and it’s time for companies to look up and focus on evolving, to outstrip the competition and adapt to the industry’s post-recession landscape,” he said.
