Barnes has been appointed general manager of graphic systems. He was at Heidelberg from 1995 to 2012 and served most recently as national manager of products & business development.

Eastwood has left Fujifilm to become chief executive of the Australian Diabetes Council after three years with the company.

Fujifilm chief executive Kevin Masuda said: "Lindsay has produced an impressive portfolio of achievements in his 20-year professional career and with his deep industry experience we are delighted to welcome Lindsay to the Fujifilm team."

Barnes added: "Fujifilm is recognised as a market-leading supplier to the printing and graphics industry and I am looking forward to working closely with the team and our clients and leading Fujifilm Graphics in its next phase of growth."
