Neopost to supply Epson’s “extreme speed” signage printers

Neopost Australia, which was formerly known as GBC Australia, will distribute the SureColor SC-S50600 and SC-S70600.

National manager of sign & display, Barry Grant, said: "Our knowledge across all aspects of this market is as much a value-add to an existing sign-writer as it is to a new contender, and the speed, reliability and overall performance of the SureColor S Series printers certainly adds to our capabilities."

The 163cm-wide printers start from $29,000, according to Epson.

"The SureColor SC-S50600 and SC-S70600 produce at speeds never before seen in this class of printer with an image quality that far surpasses any solvent printer available today," according to Epson.

The machines also deliver "extreme speed, extreme colour and ultra-convenience, radically changing customer expectations and creating new and profitable applications with higher quality printing at dramatically faster speeds".

Epson business unit manager Craig Heckenberg said: "Customers are telling us there’s a lot to like in the SureColor S-Series, such as advanced media handling, high output flexibility and exceptional colour gamut, giving a boost to their customer’s satisfaction, so I am sure Neopost Australia will have great success with these printers."

"Neopost Australia has established itself in the past decade as a leading supplier to the large-format signage, exhibition and display industries, so they are a welcome addition to our dealer network.

"Epson’s strong product offering in this segment complements Neopost’s experience across this market."
