Optimus becomes GASAA sponsor

GASAA executive officer Garry Knespal (pictured) told ProPrint that the sponsorship will advantage both Optimus and GASAA members.

“All our sponsorship arrangements are tailored to the needs of the respective vendor, but generally will include close branding association, themed events, and promotional access to our 13,000 contact database,” he said. “We’ll support sponsors’ open house events and other information and sales initiatives.”

“For the members’ part they get news and information from our sponsors in a way that reduces the sales hype. The sponsorship support, as well as general vendor subscriptions, also helps members by helping to keep fees down. GASAA’s standard membership fee of $1250 for a full service industry body is the lowest around and is in part due to the support of our valued suppliers.”

Optimus business manager Jim Street also said he was “delighted” with the partnership.

“We have always aimed to build trusting, mutually beneficial relationships with printers all over the world, and we look forward to supporting the Australian print industry through our relationship with GASAA,” he said.

Optimus will have a presence at May’s Ipex event, and will follow that up with a post-Ipex roadshow from 8-18 June.
