Ferrostaal Australia

When was your company's first PacPrint?

The organisation now known as Ferrostaal has been Australia since 1974 and has participated in all major printing events. This will be the first PacPrint as ‘Ferrostaal Australia’.

Can you name any milestone launches at previous PacPrints?

The introduction of the auto-plate changing feature announced by Komori at PacPrint 1992. Komori was represented by Sicpa Graphics at the time.

Can you name any milestone sales at previous PacPrints?

During the last two PacPrints, we have witnessed the shift to production-quality digital print. This year it is our turn to showcase digital technology for digital printing – from digital print to the final finished product.

PacPrint or PrintEx – what’s your favourite?

Two similar exhibitions now catering for local print businesses. We also feel that it’s important to have an exhibition in each state.

How can customers get the most out of PacPrint?

By visiting each stand to discover and discuss product developments. Customers benefit from the investment suppliers and manufacturers have made in the exhibition to showcase their latest offerings. For Ferrostaal, this includes the new H-UV technology from Komori. Print samples and videos taken at Drupa will be available for customers to see.

How will you entice customers to invest?

New products will be exhibited that show how printers can run their businesses more efficiently and profitably with the advanced technology. More to be revealed at PacPrint13. The ability to discuss technology in the exhibition environment is important.

What will you be showing at PacPrint13?

The stand will be divided into sections: Print: an MGI 8700XL digital printer. Cut: a Challenge 365XG guillotine. Crease: a Morgana AutoCreaser Pro 50 high-speed creasing machine. Fold: a Morgana DigiFold Pro and Morgana DocuFold Pro. Bind: Morgana DigiBook 450 PUR binder and a Bagel laminator. There will also be two newly released products for the Australian market.

Can you give us any other hints about your stand or plans for the show?

PacPrint 2013 will feature key elements surrounding the digital product line-up. In addition, the new H-UV technology from Komori will be displayed on electronic devices and with printed press samples (without the press).

PacPrint13 takes place at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 21-25 May 2013. Visit www.pacprint.com.au.
