PMP CEO visits PacPrint, flags June announcement

In an exclusive interview with ProPrint, Alley (pictured, centre) described the event as a “great opportunity to see what everyone’s got on offer”.

“Some of our major suppliers are here, like MAN Ferrostaal, Kodak and Xerox,” Allely said. “We buy a lot of consumables, so I like to stay up to speed on our suppliers.”

Allely was formally appointed to the head position of PMP Limited just last month, though he has served in the position on an interim basis since Brian Evans’ departure from the role in January.

“It’s great, I’m still highly energised,” Allely said. “It’s great to have an opportunity to run the business.”

Allely also flagged an announcement coming in June regarding the latest phase of the company’s “transformation project”, which so far has seen a raft of changes to the company’s management team.

Alley said he is “quite excited” about the new announcement, which is still currently in the “fine-tuning” stage.

He also reiterated his belief that the company is well-placed to survive in uncertain times.

“Everyone’s trying to predict what;s going to happen, but no one really knows,” he said.

“We came into this in really good shape, and I believe we’re going to come through better on the other side.”

“It’s a bit lke the old adage, necessity is the mother of invention. I’m quite excited to see how we’re doing more with less.”
